Most people that look at me would not know that I have Multiple Sclerosis. It is important for people to know the hidden symptoms of MS as they are just as frustrating as the visible physical symptoms. The biggest negative symptom of my MS is
1. Memory Loss: You name it, I forget it. Names, places, dates, paying bills, calling friends, appointments and more. Sitting around with friends and family who like to take a trip down memory lane is sometimes embarrassing when I cant recall details of what everyone is talking about. It can be isolating if I don't speak up and simply admit that I don't remember whatever it is being talked about.

I too live with issues with my memory. I was put on an anti-seizure medication when i was in middle school that the neurologist said would help with the head-aches that had been plaguing me. The only thing is that there is a long list a side-effects from this medication that he did not go over with me or my family.

We confronted the doctor with this news and he quickly took me off the medication. However, I still struggle with my memory today. I have alarms set for every thing and i would be lost with out my calendar, but I learned to adapted just as I'm sure you have.
I think what you are doing here is really brave and impressive! Not a lot of people would dare to write about their lives and issues they have with for example in your case MS. So keep doing what you are doing, as you are obviously a great person!
