The second most frustrating "silent" symptom of my Multiple Sclerosis is having trouble with word recall. Most people have brain farts in which they are talking about something and have that perfect word on the tip of their tongue but cant produce the word. This is my life almost EVERYDAY....I tend to beat myself up asking "Why cant I come up with the right word? Its there! I know it is...Here is a video that I came across today about MS and memory that takes the words right out of my mouth.....No pun intended.
Latoya, I see this beautiful young woman sitting in class every day with an eagerness to learn, and pure confidence expressed on her face. I never for second would have guessed that you had MS. This video truly is a great way to express what people with MS have to do literally every day. I can’t stand it when a word slips my mind and I forget a subject I was talking about with someone. To go through that day after day has to be very frustrating, and yet, you manage to push through it step by step. Know that you have a new fan in your class. You go girl!!!!
